Diversity is what separates us from everyone else and makes us unique, diversity is our race,heritage,customers,religions etc..., if we was all the same, we would probably think and act the same and have the same views and opinions. Diversity should be valued because nobody is the same ad everybody should be treated as individuals, for example twins they may look the same but that doesn't mean they are the same, they will have different views and opinions and be totally the opposite to each other. By valuing diversity everybody can work together freely and respectfully.

1.2 Describe how to to treat other people in a way that is sensitive to others

To be able to treat others in a way that is sensitive to there needs you will need to understand and get to know them first. The main role is to treat them how you will like to be treated with respect, listen to them and try and give them some solutions to there situations,also be respectful and take there views and opinions into consideration and be sensitive to any situations outside the company that may affect them in the business environment.

1.3 Describe how to treat other people in a way that respects there abilities,backgrounds,values,customs and beliefs

it is important to respect people regardless because it builds great working relationships between yourself and colleagues which will lead to efficient work being produced . You can shouldn't be disrespectful as it could potentially ruin the working relationships which would be inefficient and would cause many issues in the work environment
