Unit 212-Produce documents in a business environment

1.1 Give example of different types of documents that many be produced for the business environment and explain differet styles that can be used

There are many different types of documents that may be produced i a business environemnt, these include:

  • Fax documents

  • Memo's

  • Minutes

  • Spreadsheets

  • letters 

  • PowerPoint Presentations

They all have different purposes and uses:

Fax documents:

​

Another type of document used in business is a fax document, these are very useful i business as they are the fastest waysto send documents. These are in paper format , either in colour or black and white, they usually consits of text and words they don't really have a style.

Memo's

​

Memo's are used for informal communications with an organisation and can be either paper or electronic format, they usually consist of the company's logo,a subject and a signature.

​

Minutes

​

These are details of what took place at a meeting. These can be printed of in paper for meetings and can be distrubuted electronically, they consists of 4 points, title,subject,contents and a signature, they have a set font and a set colour.
